About New Youthquake
The theme for Love Your Local market (LYLM) 2017 is youth culture, and Portobello and Golborne Road market is taking inspiration from ‘Youthquake’, a term coined by British Vogue editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland in 1965 to describe a London-centred movement of youth-led music and fashion. New Youthquake aims to re-kindle and expand on that movement, with Portobello and Golborne at its heart.
