Queen's Park Day 2016

Queen's Park Day is a regular fixture in the Rhythm Studio Foundation's calender. The Rhythm Studio's  own  mini-festival stage  in a corner of the park provides an opportunity for our many scholarship students to showcase their talent and this year we launched the inaugural Rhythm Studio Foundation's Outstanding Student Award to celebrate our fifth year of awarding scholarships.

Local resident Radio 6 DJ Shaun Keaveny presented the award to Shamime Ibrahim for her commitment, hard work, technical achievement as well as her development as a musician and a live performer. Shamime's prize included a Boss Loop Station peddle, festival tickets and a work experience opportunity.

"The Rhythm Studio Foundation is a really brilliant, brilliant place - the kids have such a  wonderful time"  Shaun Keaveney

A big thank you to Simon London, RSF Trustee Jack Horner and Shamime for hosting the stage during the day.
